Lean Meat Pizza
Have a craving for pizza but don’t want the refined carbs and unnecessary calories? Then try this awesome lean meat pizza! It’s high in protein, low in sugar and can be topped with whatever pizza toppings you desire!
Makes one large pizza
Ingredients
Pizza Base
500g chicken mince
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp salt
1 tsp oregano or Italian herbs
1 large egg
1 tablespoon ground almonds (almond flour)
20g shredded low fat mozzarella

Passata

Method
- Pre heat oven to 230c and line baking tray with grease proof baking paper
- In a bowl, combine; chicken mince, beaten egg, almond flour, salt, herbs and garlic powder, mixing well.
- Evenly spread the mixture onto the baking tray into a pizza shape (about 1.5-2cm) thick.
- Bake in the oven until edges brown and base is cooked through (10-15min).
- Remove from oven and add toppings, starting with the passata, mozzarella and then whatever you choose! We went for avocado, spinach, bell pepper and tomato:)
- Put pizza back in oven and cook until cheese has melted. Enjoy!
